Project “DT4A” is implemented within the framework of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan 2021–2026 and is financed by European Union funds through the NextGenerationEU instrument.
The DT4A project focuses on researching trends in the application of digital technologies in accounting. The use of identified technologies and their impact on the accounting process will be examined in the national context, with a particular emphasis on reporting. Special attention will be given to the impact of technologies on the competencies of professional accountants, specifically through the analysis of digital skills and knowledge required in contemporary business environments. Insights into the current state and the impact of technologies on accounting practice, as well as required digital competencies of professional accountants, will provide guidelines for aligning accounting curricula with trends in the application of digital technologies in accounting and labour market needs.
